Luciano and I are working on Excalibur Brothers brand using the Blimp Method (Brand Licensing Improved) with the Global From Asia community. We have a very patient and amazing franchisee group with all the China lockdowns and delays to get these products out.
Today, the production is getting started, deposits were made last week and it was about time to meet the factory and check it out.
In addition to the factory (final assembly), we also took a ride to the leather market. It is important to understand the material quality, certifications, origin and more. Full grain, crazy horse, split grain – there are so many types.
It was a fun but exhausting day, yet any time you can meet your suppliers and build that face-to-face relationship, the better. A lot of great concepts were made on how to improve our workflow and communication.
