What is Mike Up To Now – March 28 – April 3, 2021
This time last year I was locked in a Chinese quarantine, building Loadpipe to sell B2B PPE as my birthday was approaching.
This time, I am mostly “locked” in China, working online mainly on ecomm/SEO/ and the decentralized internet (dWeb). The masks did its purpose last year and we helped get masks at fair prices to people in as timely a manner as possible (wow logistics was a nightmare), hopefully saving lives doing so.
This is what we are up to this week:
- The Shadstone team is really developing nicely, amazing independent leaders forming, team calls being established. Still improving our client services department but believe we are putting the right people in the right seats (following a management book I read)
- Still too early to say, but some new investments and projects coming, a huge wealth of opportunities coming.
- My birthday this Friday, this year out of quarantine and with my fam. Maybe a simple cake and walk in the mall (with masks of course). It is the simple things in life.

We are deep into the decentralized internet (dWeb) and have been discussing starting a SkyInclude Philippines community to help more in the community be able to get exposure and involvement in the new internet – Handshake as well as more and more ecosystems. One way is to actually earn money doing it by mining and staking.
Last week was another defining week – team developments:
Welcome:
We have our new client services “superstar” who will be our point person of communication to our growing client base of SEO, content, and consulting clients. She worked w/ Shadstone in 2017-2018 and it is great to have here back.
A new member to our SEO outreach team brought in by referral, welcome! We are excited and need this help on the team.
Another SEO also joining our SEO outreach team and works closely with each other on other projects in the past.
Transitioning:
More transitioning this year as we develop our team’s focus and culture. She will be having her last day on March 31. It is on good terms and all are friends, thank you for everything the last few months.
Been happy to see the team talk more with each other and to communicate-
** If you didn’t see it already, we proposed a team-wide call on Wednesday March 31 at 7pm Manila time. Please try your best to attend, it will have some announcements and also some rewards !:)
Really just a lot of amazing opportunities coming and hoping to provide those to the team who can handle all this.
May keep today’s week plan shorter. Honestly, I am feeling so good that our team is starting to proactively see projects and tasks without my needing to make tasks and updates.
