Will be heading to Prague Tuesday early morning -so monday will be the intense finance and admin day per usual.
* Prague trip, speaking at hcpp, also catch tail end of pow summit. And other smaller events. Speaking friday 5pm
* Loadpipe / Purse transition so close, coordinating with which team members to stay and how to work with them, along with softwares and services.
* Admin / finance / Shadstone restructuring continues – seeing nice progress.
* CBS2023 ongoing promotions and tweaks but great progress on team and organization.

Week Plan Sept 24 – Sept 30, 2023 Venture Seed
Proud of our team, holding things together – shout out to Anne, Sally, and many others. And stepping up.
Saw we got a new client for Shadstone without Mike’s involvement which is great – not because I’m trying to be lazy – but because we need to be self sustaining as a team.
Also the CBS / GFA team has been building and strengthening. Thinking we (I) should have worked on that much earlier – but now we have a solid crew Edwin helping on FB ads, Joel on the voice, April on the sales – combined with our more “internal team” (is how I am seeing it) Gift learning and improving (I see it), Sally as always keeping things on track, Snook talking to a ton of companies in Chiang Mai, Anne quarterbacking, Jhanry on posting and content schedules, and of course our talented IT and content team too.
Realizing how many people it takes, wow.
And that is the asset, the team, the trust, the skills.
And the timing is perfect – with less than 2 months to go til Cross Border Summit, and also a week or 2 until the closing of the Purse /Loadpipe transaction. Which has been one of the more complex ones in my career.
Thank you to the team for allowing me to work and focus on that, especially last week. We are making powerpoint, spec docs, adding more team members, and figuring out how to engage with the Shadstone ninja team the best.
You should be aware Tuesday early morning will be a long multi connection flight to Prague, where this weekend will be speaking at HCPP about the importance on owning your name and your content, especially in this highly filtered world we are living in. In addition to speaking there, there are some other events happening as well, as well as meeting some of our friends and community and team base in Europe (going to Copenhagen as well).
So let’s all keep pushing and growing. The goal truly is all of us level up our roles, responsibilities, skillsets and become leaders.
