What Mike Michelini is up to Now – Oct 1 – 7, 2023

Sunday morning here in Prague, but Sunday afternoon in Asia. Took a few days to adjust to jet lag but now fully adjusted and deep in networking at the hcpp event. Spoke on Friday here about the importance of “owning your name and content”. Quite a unique community of libertarians and individual thinkers. The sessions and the networking has gotten me thinking and reflecting a lot on my angle in life and business.
This week:
* Wrapping up HCPP today, Sunday Oct 1 – hope to get some last day networking in.
* Copenhagen Monday to Wednesday – sessions with team members on the new Loadpipe protocol talking programming and development.
* Reflecting on adding amazing enhancements to Cross Border Summit based on the recent events to add event more to it.
* Back in Asia Thursday night – team is doing great, and many new resources and opportunities just keep on coming.

Week Plan Oct 1 – 7, 2023 Venture Seed
The transition continues. Had an amazing monthly Shadstone ninja team call last week while here in Prague – and just so proud of the team. So so many years of investment but we have done fabulous – we have found amazing people who enjoy what they do and are creating. Also happy early birthday to LJ (Monday) who really helped set a great foundation for leadership and management. And Anne, the amazing management team – Sally always stepping up – training others.
It is a surreal feeling for me, honestly.
Yet we do have short term pressure still. During this transition of the Purse acquisition, along with heavy investments in Cross Border Summit as it comes in mid November, and just growing our amazing “family” of ninjas – team – there are more and more costs.
So we must always stay hungry for revenue, and I said during the monthly call – I’m amazed we have gotten some clients which I didn’t expect would convert.
Fully believe we have the people, the products/services – just need to balance long term investments with short term cash flow – this is what I think is the missing piece. But of course don’t get so nervous – just be aware of it. Cash flow is always a tricky puzzle and I am certain all our investments will pay off (well, the thing on investments is not 100% pay off, but those that do make up for the ones that lost + more – hopefully!).
Learning and being inspired so much in Prague these various events. POW Summit was making some deals, making connections. At HCPP was honored to share and represent Handshake and true ownership of your name and content on the internet. Will be reflecting on all of this and am seeing new ways to apply it to what we do.
Copenhagen flight bright and early Monday morning where I’ll meet 2 amazing people involved in the new Loadpipe ecommerce protocol – with a half day meeting session blocked off. Also will meet more people in the space and have a hyper active couple days before flying back to Asia on Wednesday – Thursday.
As I have been saying in various week plans – it is scary. Putting myself out there, delegating much much more than ever before. Letting go of “babies” (businesses) by empowering our amazing team of leaders and managers.
To be more “bullet point” based:
* Mike on the road in Europe still til Thursday night Asia time, business development
* Purse deal close has been further delayed and all parties want to close asap but the paperwork.
* Teambuilding for so many of our businesses and projects, growing our leaders, empowering people. Overwhelming amount of people wanting to join us, and want to find the best way to make that work, realistically.
* Cross Border Summit enhancements – got a few more fun ideas to apply a wow effect to CBS2023. Want that to be a conference to remember to put all of this together and mark a new beginning.
