In photo – kids with first Christmas tree, trip to the food market, dentist visit.

One week with Wendy in Bhutan and I’m still standing straight (mostly – but carried a ton of food and products for the kids this weekend). But as Wendy said, it would be a good bonding time and we have gone to the dentist, gotten a Christmas tree, had lunch at the local market. Its been fun.

But I’ll be leaving tomorrow as well – for the Shadstone ninja retreat that we have been working on for the last 6 months. “Auntie Snook” (our amazing Thai team member) will be stepping in while I’m gone, and has been doing great so far (fingers crossed).

This week:
* Philippines – Make Most of the Trip
* Bangkok – quick 1 day layover, some strategic business meetings.
* BeckyAI Kickstarter ends Friday
* More Launching – still Akitai’s sun catcher product line, Esatto products, preparing new Excalibur Brothers products.
* Year end reflection + planning 2023.

For those who want to hear the full week plan for Shadstone Limited, Mike’s company (removing sensitive info) – here it is:

Week Plan Dec 4 – 11, 2022 Shadstone Limited

We are preparing for an epic milestone – meeting in person. I wish we could say 100% of the team will meet in person this coming week, but of course due to geography / covid / budget reasons not all of us will meet this coming Wednesday to Friday. We will try our best to document it, video, photo, recaps.

Not going to “sugar coat it” like other business owners may – we are going into the year end and this retreat in a tough economic time and our company is not in much better of a position than others.

But as my friend and previous “apprentice” Doug Pierce has said about my ability:

“Mike is a hustler and super-networker. To see him pull resources and people together, under pressure and even when outside of his element, is truly remarkable.

I always found him insightful, honest, with great experiences and great sense of humor. His work ethic is the same as his Twitter follower count: beyond reproach.”
– Doug

This is something for sure – I am trying my best to be as creative as possible to KEEP OUR AMAIZNG TEAM (ninjas) together. My family and our team are at the top of my life (many say too high on my list – well above myself), and many of you on the team already feel like an extended family that I am responsible for.

Most likely what we need to decide at this retreat is what projects and “classes” do we focus on – crypto / web3, e-commerce Amazon Fba, affiliate/SEO, crowdfunding and influencer marketing, or branding and web design? We are doing ALL right now. I am like a kid in a candy store to be honest (though my stressful reactions may confuse many), as I love to all of these industries and 90% of the projects and businesses we are contributing towards.

But maybe all my business minded friends and mentors are right – we gotta cut down on the wide range of products and services.

Yet I have said it a few times to management – we are doing these as we are trying to find revenue and cashflow to support our family of ninjas. So many times when an industry collapses over these last 2 years – from Amazon FBA freezing in March 2020, to PPE masks boom and bust, to web3 and crypto, to Amazon aggregators, to JV with brands and licensing deals, we keep spinning and looking for something that can hold us all together and support our team.

So it will be a retreat to discuss about structure and direction. Want the team involved in this.
