Back from Bangkok and straight back to a day pass at the Edge City Lanna – 9ish-AM arrive and welcomed with such friendly and good vibe people.
Right off the bat saw Sophie again, who I enjoyed a drawing session with last week. Chatted about China, business – she even had heard of our startup Hamza already and was interested in the Decom Night! Grabbed a quick video clip and photo together.
Onto a morning session discussing Dao and data and biometrics. Should we be paid for sharing our data on these evolving web3 “smart body platforms”? My input was I just want to be able to export my own data and not have it sold to the highest bidder in a vendor locked ecosystem.
Lunch and more networking. Meeting people interested in ecommerce and blockchain – and having fascinating followup conversations with people and new people alike.
Afternoon Dao panel with amazing leaders in the Ethereum ecosystem – small and casual. Discussing what makes a Dao work, how it can be improved ,and more.
Then I got lucky and joined a bunch of these amazing leaders and panelists for a fun lunch (very late) and chatted things. Got to get overloaded with insights and strategies about our Hamza.market startup and just overall ways to launch and grow.
Evening a quick huddle for our second decom night but a ton of people went to the cross popup city Town hall that brought all the pop-up cities together .
Very overwhelming hyperactive day of sessions, round tables, meetings, networking.
Truly feel this is my calling in life – to bridge together web2 ecommerce into this magical and mysterious web3 community.
Cheers!
