So my son speaks more Chinese than English and way better Chinese than mine already. (I really do study 30 min a day) .
This is something I am still adjusting to – living i a Chinese household, with my kids – speaking Chinese. Sure there is some English – but it is China, and it is a Chinese environment. We had a fun family day this Sunday afternoon , out for lunch and then some playscape time with friends. But I would want to learn Chinese first if I was a kid growing up – it is such a hard language and if I learned it first, I am sure learning English later would be much easier.
What do you guys think? I am sure knowing Chinese and English will be a great advantage in this new generation so I am sure this is a good investment in my kids’ future.
