This Tuesday, Feb 7, 2012, We’ll start the Startup Tuesday again, now that Chinese News is over…and sadly, as SZteam location is currently closed, I will have to update the SZteam website to tell future visitors they can stop by the Chai Huo hackerspace, as Eric Pan is more then welcome to let those interested in startups, entrepreneurship, and “product hacking” to come by.
Since I still get so many emails, tweets, and startups from all over the globe visiting Shenzhen interested to meet the Startup community, I cannot let the conflicts of physical office stop me from continuing to build up the community! Jon Buford reminded me, its not the space that matters, its the people in the community….and I have to get off my arse and push these meetings again. I enjoy it.
So this Saturday afternoon, I gathered up all the information about a visiting Silicon valley startup guy, Haegwan, from Lifecraft who is coming to meet up Tuesday evening and wants to see the startup community to post on the SZteam site as well as this here blog!
Hope everyone had a good Chinese New Year, and is excited for the “Year of the Dragon”
SZteam is cooperating with Chai Huo hackerspace, and the next Startup Tuesday will be at the Chai Huo hackerspace

Chai Huo hackerspace
#0728, Bld #5, Dong Hua Yuan (Next to Holiday Inn)
Nanhai Avenue, Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China
MTR – Luobao Line (line 1) to the Tao Yuan stop (just past Shenzhen University) and about a 10 minute walk
Thanks guys, I have a feeling a lot of people will get lost, but you can call Mike Michelini’s china mobile at +86 15816859376 , I also have whatsapp,
The location of Chai Huo is not the most convenient, its about 10 minutes walk from the Tao Yuan metro station, but it has an awesome vibe, and after thinking about it, its best to cooperate with Chai Huo as I have been looking at spaces – its the most popular vote from my friends and those I am asking….there is a Chinese hacker community, and with the more English / foreign / web marketing heavy community I am working with, it seems to be a great synergy to make things happen.
But I NEED HELP!…. this is a part time thing I am doing now, I got in trouble last year by focusing on it too much and not enough on money-making business! This is a non-profit community type effort. The networking is great though.
