Here we are, already deep into Q2, and the matrix is getting thicker by the day. But instead of getting fully sucked in, I hit the eject button for a last-minute family reset in Krabi before the kids head back to school.
It has been a perfect mix of unplugging with kayaks slicing through emerald waters, snorkeling among colorful reefs, and still sneaking in some focused development sessions between beach runs. Nothing beats recharging the soul while the mind keeps quietly building.
The weather in southern Thailand right now is pure magic—warm days, gentle breezes, and that post-rain clarity that makes everything feel possible. It’s the ideal backdrop for reflecting on how fast this AI-driven world is evolving and how we’re choosing to navigate it.

Janice Jung (Powerhouse EA & AI Agent Ecosystem): "Thanks Mike! You and the team are super busy with the Anthropic updates and my Openclaw installation. The ability to use the max plan is a bit of a wrench in our gears, but we are solving it."
Mike: "Yes, the team is doubling down on our agent fleet upgrades. We do not want to be locked in for life to Anthropic, so it is a lot of work to build our own infrastructure and tools for multiple models—but it is exactly what we need to do. It truly is a matrix world."
Lisa Yuson (Global From Anywhere Ecosystem): "We are with you, Mike! We are working on the right format and time for the Global From Anywhere Live Show. Had a good conversation for Handshake.mastermind, and we are lining up more guests and a system for the live show and events in general with BalloonGrid.com. Mike: "Thanks Lisa. There is so much to do, but I love what I do—even though we are having to rebuild Slack from scratch and rebuild our AI agent infrastructure outside of Claude. It is just the resistance I feel we have to keep pushing through."
Billy Beard (E-commerce & Excalibur Brothers): "Very cool to see us building our own infrastructure. On the ecommerce side, I am regularly adding blogs on BillyBeard.com for the Excalibur Brothers brand and other portfolios. We also created a new alert system pulling Amazon data and sharing it directly to our 'new slack' webchat."
Mike: "I have to admit it is an avalanche of work, learning, and trying to navigate this fundamental shift in the internet. But I believe this is the way of the future. Let's keep building."
🌐 The Core Update: .agent Public Launch & Meetups
The .agent world is coming together beautifully. Over at headlessdomains.com, the sunrise period is moving along and some trademark holders have already filed. The big date to circle on your calendar is Monday, April 27, 2026—that is when public registrations officially open.
Lisa: "We will have some meetups as well! The Ecommerce meetup in Chiang Mai is on Tuesday, April 21, and there are other chapters forming for Global From Anywhere. The Cross Border Summit is the main push for Nov 3-5, 2026. We are getting speaker applications and so much interest. The new venue and the 'Takeoff' theme are right on target for our Agentic commerce expansion!"

This week has been a beautiful reminder that even in the middle of massive infrastructure rebuilds, AI agent fleet upgrades, domain sunrise periods, and rebuilding internal tools from the ground up—family, nature, and a quick Krabi reset keep everything in perspective.
The resistance is real, but so is the excitement. We’re leaning hard into agentic commerce, live shows, meetups, and the big Cross Border Summit. Grateful for the whole team pushing through the matrix with me.
