The year-end pressure is cranking up to diamond-forming levels. That’s right: diamonds are born under extreme heat and pressure, and right now we’re deep in the mine hunting for the ones that will shine brightest in 2026.
This December is a deliberate hard pivot. Some projects and teams are getting a respectful sunset, while fresh ones are being born (yes, birthed) so we hit January running, not crawling.
Just came out of our team huddle and the energy is sky-high. Here’s the quick rundown:
Katrina and the New York Bar Store crew are wrapping the year with rock-solid, steady sales — the kind of reliable cash flow every founder dreams about. She did roast me for the “birthing” line (fair), but the real news is that we’re doing another full backend rebuild with even more of my custom e-commerce tools. 2026 is set to be NYBS’s breakout year, and a bunch of those tools will be released publicly soon. Builders, stay tuned.
Lisa and Global From Asia just launched a brand-new 1-on-1 expert booking platform inside the community. Members can now jump on private calls with veterans who actually know sourcing, Amazon, Shopify, logistics — whatever they need. And last week’s Chiang Mai Ecommerce Sellers Meetup? Way bigger and higher quality than we expected. The room was absolutely electric.
