Back with the fam in Chiang Mai – a very productive and compact 4 day Bangkok factory trade show with tons of new suppliers and services to dig into. For sure see the future of growth in the supply chain in Southeast Asia – clear to me.
This week:
* Admin/HR/Finance/budgeting – hard to believe we are over halfway through 2023, planning the rest of the year, thinking about Christmas sales already. Confirming shadstone retreat.
* Logistics and supply chain – making improvements in supply chain for Akitai, and Esatto. Studying numbers, ocean/air, 3pl.
* Web marketing + ecomm/fba – been finally seeing the team unify our ecommerce and Amazon brands with our web marketing team – and can feel it improving (just my gut).
* Developers work with early stage prototyping for web3 marketplaces.
* Cross Border Summit – summer promo ending, mapping out the next few months of preparations.

Week Plan July 23 – 30, 2023 Shadstone Limited
Back in Chiang Mai after an intense 4 day Bangkok trade show and business development trip. But would say it was a success – met with our Cross border summit sponsor YunExpress (and did podcast and vlog), met Amazon Global Selling Bangkok, found a bunch of suppliers for a bunch of our brands, and have new solutions and ways to grow and save money for the brands.
Last monday we also had a good finance team call about GFA kids and cross -invoices and credit notes. Truly my weakness, but glad we are putting more attention on it and improving and communicating between departments to solve this complex workflow and process.
The Chiang Mai ecomm meetups keep improving, Max from Amazon did a nice AMA which went smooth with a good turnout of attendees and engagement. Feel Snook and our team is working more and more smoothly to build these out.
A whole explosion of new apps and services and opportunities flowing from the Purse acquisition. Never going to be the same, we are scaling up, expanding our wings, bringing in new and good people and opportunities. And using this as a bridge of our web3/HNS “bucket” with our ecomm/GFA community “bucket” – and using Cross Border Summit as that way to kick it off.
And seeing our ecomm brands expand multi-channel and shopping carts and websites and content. Just know we keep bubbling up our potential and there is a massive tidal wave of growth to come. Just cannot wait to put all of this together. The idea of “something” like this – (bridging ecomm and web3) has been on my mind since summer 2020 and is coming together in a way never imagined (in a good way).
I know we are deep in summer, and bear market, and it is stressful. Just keep trying to make clear plan, clear systems, and we can all grow.
