YOLO – had to take the kids to finally go on a ROLLER COASTER. Can you believe – no roller coasters in Thailand? So we are here in Singapore and just had to bite the bullet and do it. Kids are at a great age to go at 7 and 9 years old and will be a lifelong memory.
Tip – we’re begged by our Singapore friends to NOT go on a weekend, so we made the trip to Universal Studios on a Friday. (Writing this before we go – fingers crossed it works)
Mapped out the rides we want to go on, and the top pick is Battlestar Galactica – HOPE the kids are over the 125 cm requirement though.
Writeup AFTER attending Universal Studios
So I’m typing this up the next morning – what an intense, action packed day. But it was a YOLO and the kids will definitely remember it.
We started off with “Revenge of the Mummy” and it scared the heck out of the whole family. Basically, an indoor rollercoaster where a ton of it is in complete darkness ha!
We had to skip the Battlestar Galactica – Maggie was too short – but also needed Universal Express or to buy additional tickets (we had only general entry) – anyway Wendy felt Miles was too young for it and there was plenty of rides.

So that is a fair amount of rides – the main tip – get there early – opens at 11am, but the line started at 930am. Race to where you want to make sure you avoid long lines.
Tons of photos too – a memory for the books. Realized the kids had not been on a roller coaster before – so glad we bit the bullet and YOLO’d this one.
