“On the road again” – a nod to Uncle Bill (rest in peace). I can’t seem to stay still, and with Janette, my partner at Global From Asia, cheering me on, I’m embracing the hustle. Traveling, networking, and sealing deals – this is where the magic happens.
So a week back home in Chiang Mai, soaking up the Songkran (Thai New Year) vibes, I’m gearing up for a multi-city Asian adventure. Here’s the lineup for my Spring Roadshow 2025, packed with opportunities to connect, collaborate, and create (focusing on key dates, excluding travel days).
Singapore: April 22–27, 2025
No specific event, but an old friend from college is there for a conference (Tayan) and a good reason to come out to the financial capital of Asia.
- Tuesday, April 22: I will be meeting some people, just a casual evening meetup for web3 and e-commerce folks. Nothing too formal – just good people, great ideas. Ping me if you’re in Singapore and want to join!
- Rest of the week: A mix of one-on-one meetings, tapping into Tayan’s conference network, and exploring new opportunities in this vibrant city.
China (Canton Fair): April 28–May 4, 2025

- Heading over to meet Justin, my partner and CEO of Easy China Warehouse, to discuss operations.

I’m also keen to gauge the post-trade-war landscape, create some vlogs, and share insights from the ground. China’s always a hub of opportunity, and I’m ready to dive in.
Hanoi, Vietnam: May 5–9, 2025
The final stop is Hanoi, sparked by a tip from Tom Barett at HandyCon in March. As a 4+ year director in the handshake blockchain space, it’s time to step into the ICANN domain world and see what’s brewing.
