Boom! Two weeks after the DCBKK conference in Bangkok (their 5th!) we are finally having a “DCx” event in Hong Kong. What’s a Dcx? Basically like TEDx – independently organized micro meetups based off the brand and format of the main conference.
So it will be a 2 day event on Friday Oct 28 to Saturday Oct 29, afternoon will be where the main action is. Friday afternoon is masterminds, where we sit in groups and work with each other to try to uncover problems and opportunities in our business. Then Saturday afternoon is a few speakers and networking.
Around these 2 “main events” will be lunches, dinners, drinking, and networking together. About 15 people have registered so far (a week to go) and settling the last minute details now.
Chris Gormley is helping out too – and we have his rooftop in Midlevels (overlooking the Hong Kong skyline) for BBQ and networking on Saturday night.
Plus, that is Halloween weekend! That means a crazy party night in LKF, Hong Kong.
I’m so excited that a lot of DC members will be making their first trip to Hong Kong for this. This will be a yearly event (if all goes well!) and can do future events on yachts and hiking and other amazing places in Hong Kong.
