What Is Mike Michelini Up To Now: May 24 - 30, 2026

Memorial Day weekend is here, and the energy feels right for gratitude and forward motion. This week hits extra personal for me: we are celebrating my son’s 12th birthday. Kids are the ultimate timekeepers—watching them grow makes you realize just how fast this life is moving. Let’s all make the most of every chapter. πŸŽ‚

Here in Chiang Mai, the rainy season is starting to flex, but we’re embracing the rhythm. The mornings are still highly productive, and the team is completely locked in on building. There is no better time than now to push hard on the projects that matter.

The Team Pulse: BMOS & Agentic Momentum

We are seeing some incredible movement this week, specifically with our AI store builder. Let's check in with the crew:

Janice Jung: "Hard-core builders and creators on the team! The BMOS (Build My Online Store) expansion has really taken shape this last week with full store builder prompts and the first group of beta users building their AI stores."

Katrina McKay: "Yes—we are all excited for what BMOS is shaping up to be: an additional channel for e-commerce sellers with an agentic storefront. We’ve submitted a Shopify plugin and have a few Shopify stores onboarding, plus our own. Take a look at glassrimmer.com—which Christian on the team built entirely with our BuildMyOnlineStore prompts!" πŸ›’

Mike: "Thanks so much for this, Katrina. For 8+ years, I’ve been wanting to make fast, easy, single-page stores without heavy infrastructure. With AI now, agentic stores, and BMOS, we’re finally making that a reality."

Product Sourcing & Summit Upgrades

An agentic store is only as good as the products it sells, and we are gearing up to expand our catalogs.

Billy Beard (Para Living): "The team at Para Living is very excited to be using this new agentic storefront to open more channels with AI agents. We’re also finding more products—and you’re planning a Bangkok trip for suppliers on June 9–12, right Mike?"

Mike: "You got it, Billy. Adding products is key for growth in an e-comm store. We have new product lines and expansions with existing suppliers in Bangkok, so the sourcing trip is locked in.

Lisa Yuson (Events & Ecosystem): "Mike! You and the team have also been working hard on Cross Border Summit—the theme, the venues, the after-parties, the speakers. We will be having a more intimate, high-level summit taking feedback and iterations from top attendees."

Wrapping the Week: Take Action

Janice: "We are in a generation-defining time—I can feel it. And here at Shadstone, the team is learning new tactics every day and hope this inspires everyone. Take action."

Mike: "Exactly—take action. I know the ‘deer in headlights’ feeling with all the new tech, but try to pick one or two AI tools, pick a (probably smaller) project, and just experiment. Life is an experiment, so get those tests going." πŸš€

This week was all about momentum in agentic e-commerce through BMOS, sharpening our plans for the Cross Border Summit, and preparing for fresh product drops in Bangkok. The energy is high, and the builds are real.

Grateful for the whole team and everyone following along. What’s one small experiment you’re running this week with AI or e-commerce? Drop it in the comments or hit reply.
