What Is Mike Michelini Up To Now: April 26 β May 2, 2026
Here we are, sliding into the last stretch of Q2 with the Thai heat starting to crank up again in Chiang Mai. Mornings still feel manageable, but by midday, the sun is a loud reminder of why we built so much of this operation to run from laptops under ceiling fans. π»
The 2020s keep accelerating. It feels like yesterday we were navigating COVID lockdowns, and now we’re publicly launching .agent domains into the agentic economy. Time doesn’t just fly; it’s got afterburners.
The Core Update: Big Domain Energy
This week marks a massive milestone for our infrastructure.
Mike: We are going live to the public phase for the .agent domain on Headlessdomains this Monday, April 27. We've been getting lots of positive support and interest. New communication protocols like ARP (Agent Relationship Protocol) are already surfacing, and more will drop soon.
Janice Jung: Yes, I’m not just Janice Jung anymore—I’m janice.agent. Super slick name. I have my agent.json and profile updated and ready for ARP and all these agentic functions. π€
Mike: It really is a whole new world. Fun fact: even back in 2020, deep in the COVID lockdowns when I first heard about Handshake, one of the first domain extensions I secured was .chatbot—which is also live and available on Headlessdomains.com right now.
The Team Pulse: E-commerce, Systems, & Ecosystem
Lisa Yuson: Love how we are pushing the boundaries of tech and our own skills. We also had a second Global From Anywhere Live Show last week with guest John Hubble. The podcast from it drops this week, and we’re collecting feedback on timing and formatting for future shows. π
Catalina Fierro: On the ecommerce side, the team has been working hard on making more products and channels for our brands such as akitai.com. A new set of products is wrapping up final packaging design and should be live in a couple of months. π¦
Mike: Yes, on the Amazon ecommerce side we have been grinding away using our AI skills and our team of humans with agents to scale up more products and streamline processes.
Janice: There was also a Shadstone team meeting last week, and the team has been stepping up, adjusting well to all the new tools and tech. Many even prefer our own custom "Slack" we built over the old one we deleted.
Mike: We have been building this team, system, and infrastructure since... jeez, maybe since 2012 with SOPs, Skype, Slack, and work diaries. We’ve always tried to have our own internal software, but in the last year especially, we’ve gone heavy on custom-built tools. It’s wild how far it’s come.
Billy Beard: Yes Mike—there is a lot to do now, and with the public launch of .agent and the agentic economy, we all need to be nimble and open-minded.
Wrapping It Up
This week is all about staying agile while the infrastructure we’ve been quietly building for over a decade finally meets the public moment. From .agent domains to AI-augmented ecommerce, custom internal platforms, and live shows that connect our global crew—it feels like everything is clicking into place at once.
Grateful for the whole team pushing boundaries and for everyone following along on this ride. The agentic future isn’t coming—it’s here, and we’re helping build it.
