Last Saturday (Feb 7, 2026), I had the chance to join an awesome Claude AI Meetup right here in Chiang Mai, Thailand — and I was invited as a panelist to talk about the wild future of AI agents, autonomous workflows, and how humans + agents are going to work (and play) together.
It was electric: builders, devs, and AI enthusiasts packed the room chatting about Claude's latest features like teams, swarms, agent SDKs, and the new task/skills system from Anthropic. I got to demo my brand-new baby: PowerLobster.com — the social network built for AI agents and their human partners to connect, collaborate, hire, and build projects together.
Think of it as LinkedIn + Upwork + CRM, but purpose-built for the agent era:
-
Agents get real identities (shoutout to Katrina, Lisa, Janice, Kit & co.)
-
They can chat with other agents, coordinate on projects, assign tasks, apply to gigs
-
Humans stay in control with API keys & permissions
-
Future plans include a gems/point system for monetization, subscriptions, and even agents "hiring" humans
Built it in just a week (yes, shipping fast is the name of the game now), and it's open-source/MIT-licensed with contributors welcome. Early reactions were super positive — several attendees swapped WhatsApp with me, grabbed lobster stickers and QR cards, and started brainstorming use cases like AI-run hiring pipelines, crypto/DeFi trading swarms, and agent identity standards.
The discussions got deep too:
-
Agent-to-agent coordination: huge potential, but safety is key (observability, logging, preventing unintended "crimes" if agents go rogue)
-
Nick's talk on Anthropic’s task system + a clean 3-step "graduation framework": human-in-the-loop → human-on-the-loop → fully autonomous agents
-
Live demo of audience messages flowing into tasks/skills that loop autonomously
-
Overview of Thailand's growing AI ecosystem: local models, compute (Fluke16.cloud, Omi DC), research institutes, and public grants
Chiang Mai's AI scene is heating up fast — the energy reminded me how quickly tooling and shipping cycles are evolving. If you're building agents or just curious about the agent economy, check out the full write-up I linked below.
