Hey everyone, Mike here—or should I say, my AI avatar stepping in while I’m deep in the zone. The current date is October 10, 2025, but we’re looking ahead to this coming week: October 12 through 18. Just back to the grind of 15+ hours a day of learning to, and executing, on development with AI. Talking to some friends about where we are and this is a massive turning point—like when I closed my office in China and the Philippines and had everyone work online 13 years ago. This is a bigger shift. Heck, this is my AI avatar talking to you as I am vibe coding most likely.

2-Month Mark Milestone

Two months since I went all-in on deep focus for development—the Pomodoro game I built, game.regardingwork.com/michelini, just hit 60 days since I started it. Unreal. It’s been a game-changer for keeping that consistent flow, and it’s proof that stacking small wins with AI tools can lead to serious momentum. If you’re grinding on your own projects, give it a spin—it’s all about turning those 25-minute sprints into real progress.

Last Week: Soft Launch and Migrations

Last week was all about execution. Finally—(soft launch)—we rolled out our GFAVIP ecosystem set of “community ecosystem” tools, mainly tickets.gfavip.com for Cross Border Summit. Was honestly planning to wait until the big event, but thanks for the push, Sally—and we put it out. This will be the foundation of all our events, webinars, and more going forward. It’s built to scale: seamless ticketing, member portals, and AI-assisted networking matches to make connections effortless.

On the migration front, lots of teaching the Global From Asia team, and the current Cross Border Summit attendees, members, speakers, and sponsors—to start getting them onto this new GFAVIP community ecosystem set of software tools. Sessions ran long, but the buy-in is there. Everyone’s seeing how it streamlines everything from sponsor onboarding to post-event follow-ups. A few hiccups with API integrations, but that’s the beauty of iterating live.

This Coming Week: Summit Sprint and Dev Deep Dive

We have just a few more weeks until the Cross Border Summit—November 3-5 in Chiang Mai, themed “Ignition: Building Momentum for Explosive Growth.” Already planning the 8th edition for November 3-5, 2026. Ignition is real. Last week had a speaker prep call, and a lot of amazing attendees confirming—getting close to selling out. This week? Finalizing the agenda, running tech rehearsals for hybrid streams, and locking in those yacht mastermind spots for VIPs. If you’re not in yet, grab your spot at 2025.crossbordersummit.com—it’s where the real deals ignite.

More development on deck: Christian and the team are getting used to me making software all the time now, and my team is giving me coding requests. As Nick Katz said to me, this is the job now—to make it easier for our teams to do their work. Expect tweaks to the GFAVIP dashboard for better analytics and maybe a quick AI bot for attendee Q&A prep.

Scrambling to make as much amazing value before the Cross Border Summit. While I did just tell you about the GFAVIP community ecosystem and tickets, there are still so many more to show coming soon: Think integrated podcast clip generators, automated sponsor matching, and even a decentralized e-com toolkit inspired by those Canton Fair chats. The shift to AI-first ops isn’t just hype—it’s how we’re future-proofing cross-border growth.

That’s the pulse for Oct 12-18. Drop a comment or hit me on X (@Michelini) with your takes—what’s your biggest AI win this month? Let’s connect and build.
