Mike is Alive and Vibe Coding!
A few of you have reached out, concerned about my silence over the past few days. Rest assured, I’m alive and well! I’ve been deeply immersed in “vibe coding” mode, pouring my heart into building projects. The creative floodgates are open, and I’m thrilled to bring the ideas in my head to life without needing endless Google Docs filled with specifications, screenshots, and arrows.
What’s Mike Building?
Some of you are curious about what I’m working on—maybe it’s time for a new series alongside these weekly “Now” updates! The biggest project right now is RegardingWork Game, part of a broader portfolio of ideas still in the “vibe code” phase. Stay tuned for more details!

What’s Happening This Week
Last week, I clocked 14–16 hour workdays, and I’m planning the same for this week. My goal is to share some exciting new products in next week’s update, though I’m keeping a few surprises under wraps for the Cross Border Summit. I always love unveiling something special at the event!
Cross Border Summit Updates
We’ve made a bold move and removed the agenda from the Cross Border Summit public website. Tomer Rabinovich, one of our amazing speakers and a fellow ecommerce community builder, suggested we focus on the strength of our six successful conferences and our lineup of top experts (check out the speaker page) rather than stressing over a detailed agenda months in advance. This shift has freed us up to create some truly innovative concepts for the event!
We’re also already planning Cross Border Summit 2026! Yes, we’re three months out from this year’s event, but the momentum is strong, and we’re excited to scale our community even further next year.
Programming Everything
My current mission is to build systems for every problem I encounter. No more messy Google Docs or spreadsheets—my goal is to eliminate spreadsheets entirely by creating streamlined, tech-driven solutions.
Thought of the Week
Every single day counts. The recent passing of my Aunt Barbara—my condolences to my cousin Alicia—reminded me of the importance of making every moment matter. She joins her husband, my Uncle Bill, who is also dearly missed. Inspired by this, I’ve upgraded my AliveFor.com website with my new coding skills. Check it out to see my life timer—I’m over 50% through my journey, with so much more to accomplish. Expect some exciting hardware developments from this app as I continue to hone my tech skills. Sign up for free and create your own timer!
Rest in Peace Aunt Barbara
