I’m soaring into new frontiers, reminiscent of the excitement I felt in 1999 while learning to build websites or discovering how to sell online in 2004. We’re in the midst of a transformative paradigm shift.
As you may know, I’ve been developing AI software applications for a few weeks now and am thrilled to announce one specifically for these weekly updates. Visit now.mikesblog.com and create a free account to engage with me and other followers, share feedback, read others’ thoughts, and even win prizes. This platform is built with AI, so expect new features to roll out gradually.
Last Week:
Bangkok was, as always, intense. I delivered maximum value during my AI e-commerce workshop session on Tuesday, and I’ll share highlights in this week’s Global From Asia podcast.
SocialAgent.me landed its first client for AI avatars, and there’s potential for a joint venture—exciting developments are on the horizon, so stay tuned!
Hamza.market is gearing up to announce its DAO structure later this month, enabling the community to submit proposals and collaborate with us. I’m eager to empower people, just as we aim to empower sellers.
The Cross Border Summit and Cross Border Mastermind in November promise to be extraordinary. We’re curating a stellar speaker lineup and reimagining these events with AI integration. Attendees are in for a surprise!
This Coming Week:
Wendy is heading to Japan for a Buddhist retreat, leaving me, her dad, and the kids to hold down the fort in Chiang Mai. With the kids returning to school, the pressure eases slightly.
I’m focused on further empowering our team—there’s no alternative as we scale. Many of our businesses and projects are entering new phases. While AI is a powerful tool, we need human leaders to steer our various initiatives. I’m preparing for a management retreat in the Philippines later this month.
I’m hooked on “vibe coding”—building has always been my passion. I started my degree in computer engineering, but bugs used to drive me crazy. Now, with vibe coding, I feel like a true developer, tackling a massive backlog of app ideas I’ve had for decades.
Thought of the Week:
Abundance is everywhere. I understand some may resist using AI or AI avatars, but I see them as extensions of our human capabilities. Just as people once resisted websites and e-commerce, those who resist AI will fall behind. Embrace it, learn, and grow.
