Family Time Before School Starts
This weekend, I’m on a family vacation, taking a last-minute opportunity to bond with my kids before they start school. We’re driving two hours outside Chiang Mai for some much-needed relaxation and quality time together.
Last Week’s Progress
Transitioning to Development
As you know, I’ve been focused on content creation, video production, and e-commerce with AI. Last week, I took a big step into development, starting three new applications:
- AmzAssistant.com: A listing creation and optimization tool for Amazon sellers. I’m excited to offer a bonus for attendees of this week’s Top Tier AI workshop.
- Two internal applications to streamline our management team’s workflows.
Hamza.market Insights
Our advisor, Mark Koh, provided valuable feedback on why users aren’t purchasing on Hamza.market. We’re reflecting on whether we’re too early, if trust is an issue, or other factors, and we’re actively exploring solutions.
Shadstone Management Overhaul
We’re deeply reviewing team workflows, integrating AI and human processes, and restructuring Shadstone. It feels like a complete rebuild of the company, but it’s exciting progress.
Global From Asia Podcast
We launched the first 100% AI-agent-to-AI-agent podcast episode, receiving fantastic feedback from listeners. Personally, I love this shift—it lets me focus on strategy, content, and impact rather than video production. Expect more episodes soon!
Cross Border Summit & Mastermind
I’m having vivid dreams about the Cross Border Summit (November 3–5, 2025) being our best event yet. I’m proud of our community and team, and we’re organizing travel groups from China and the Philippines. We’ve nearly secured a stunning villa in Phuket for a select few joining the post-event mastermind.
This Coming Week
Top Tier AI Conference
On Tuesday, after the family trip, I’ll fly to Bangkok for the Top Tier AI Conference. I’m thrilled to share my latest insights on AI, Amazon, and e-commerce, joined by other industry experts and leaders.
Building the E-commerce Ecosystem
I’ll continue expanding on last week’s initiatives, focusing on creating a robust e-commerce and community ecosystem. This aligns with my passion for connecting sellers, which started in 2004 when I sold on eBay and networked on MySpace. Same mission, just new platforms.
Thought of the Week
Lately, I’ve felt an incredible pace of change. For years, I used Camtasia for video editing, but their shift to a recurring subscription pushed me to explore alternatives. Using AI, I discovered OBS, an open-source system. AI guided me through setup step-by-step, turning what would have been hours of Google searches and YouTube tutorials into a 20–30-minute process. Now, I’m seamlessly using free, open-source software. This experience highlights how AI is transforming workflows and saving time.
