Many who follow my blog don’t even know about our main “operations and creation” company Shadstone. Since 2007 it has existed as a B2B agency for Asia business and boutique marketing.
Since Covid, we have really doubled down on BUILDING LEADERS. Janette Toral has been coaching us and we have made some hard adjustments but am proud of the team we have.
Leaders and managers who care about the company and what they do. We are now calling our team “ninjas” and have created a whole theme and story about the ninja’s values and journey .
So from Wednesday Dec 7 to Friday Dec 9, 2022 – 15 people on the team (wow the numbers pick up) gathered in Tagaytay (the volcano in a volcano) to “retreat” and team build.
Have to admit, seeing everyone in person was powerful, and also makes me feel even more responsible to provide a stable environment and opportunity for all to grow on.
Various team building games, Janette came for a half-day session, some content creation competitions (our core strength is content creation), and of course a KTV night – you could feel people becoming more comfortable with each other as the retreat progressed.
Believe this will help a lot in EMPOWERING the team to step up even more, take leadership initiatives, and become true ninjas.
