Just can’t help myself- gotta do this hyper networking and hyper travel. This is the first in a 6 part roadshow – “The Asia Roadshow” we (our community at Global From Asia) is doing with Flippa. It started with connecting with Fiona at Flippa about podcasts and Cross Border Summit – which they came through and sponsored our summit (thank you!)
And then another idea- how about we do an “Asia Roadshow”. Would be a good way to build up more interest and awareness for Cross Border Summit, while also being Flippa’s first roadshow in Asia. They have been doing events and roadshows around the world – but this would be their first in Asia.
I have to say, my wife Wendy was hesitant – 3 weeks on the road! But the temptation was too great, it was an opportunity I felt had to be taken. For years since starting Cross Border Summit a roadshow like this was the goal – to get local chapters and communities excited about an annual conference.
Good things take time.
So today’s vlog is some of my behind the scenes and footage of the event with the trusty vlog camera.

It was a rainy night and still a packed event more than we were expecting.
Stay tuned for the next roadshow – in Bangkok – in 2 days. Some of the people tonight will be there, or in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen. If others knew more in advance they would have joined us for it.
