Just taking the video camera with me on another “outside day” doing business development.
Had our regular Chiang Mai ecommerce meetup – the format people like is going around the room introducing yourself quickly, highlighting who is doing what. Then this time we had a few people come up on stage and share for 5-10 minutes about some of their skills and knowledge.
Really impressed with the great people who are coming – often new people who are just hearing about it – and making connections.
On top of the afternoon meetup, Amazon Global Selling was organizing a dinner with some partners and invited me and the attendees along.
Between the meetup and dinner, I spent some time getting to know Benji – first time attendee to the meetups, but a veteran ecomm seller – and also a creator! Took a grab ride over to his place to check out potential new venue for our meetup, as well as saw his setup for his creator studio.
Then my battery was dying on the vlog camera, so we hopped over to Central Festival mall to buy a new battery.
What a string of events -but good to get to know someone knew – a marketer, ecommerce seller, and creator. A lot of stories and knowledge sharing – and on the Grab ride to dinner the driver’s car was a massive sound system so we enjoyed some deep base music on the ride at dinner.
At dinner, meeting mainly Thai sellers, but a table of us international sellers. More networking, most Thai businesses are based in Bangkok coming up for the events.
Hyper networking, and then snuck out at about 8pm to get home to see my family. Really trying lately to spend more time with the family – did our family points system we are building out and got some rest.
A full day of rain – but the hustle doesn’t stop for the rain. Keep putting yourself out there.
