Thank you Troublemaker Maker Space Shenzhen, My Son is Inspired

Wrapping up an amazing 10 day trip in the south of China with my son Miles, one of the big highlights was our visit to Troublemaker maker space in Shenzhen.

We were able to book a visit, and it turned into something really special. Henk gave Miles a spare 3D printer!

From what I understand, it is a more industrial machine and gives him more flexibility with filament than his current printer. Honestly, my son knows more about it than I do.

Thomas was also great, spending time with Miles on electronics, along with Hans and the others there.

Thomas told us he saw himself in Miles at 12, and wished he had had that kind of support from his family at that age.

I got choked up a few times, honestly. Seeing people take an interest in what Miles is building and encourage him like that was powerful. As a dad, it meant a lot.
