What Is Mike Michelini Up To Now: June 14 - 20, 2026
Back from Bangkok, and it was a hyper trip.
The main focus was supplier and production work for the Akitai brand. Meeting suppliers, aligning the team on production and logistics flow, and exploring new product options. This is not the kind of work that shows results overnight. It is relationship-building and operational clarity. But for a product brand, that pipeline is the lifeblood. If we add the right suppliers, tighten production, and get better logistics systems in place, that bears fruit later this year.
Snook has been doing great work, and getting everyone in the same room, team and suppliers together, helps everyone understand what we are actually building. That kind of in-person alignment is hard to replicate remotely.
Now back in Chiang Mai, and this week shifts into community and education mode.
This week's priorities
- Chiang Mai Meetup, Tuesday June 16, 2:00–4:00 PM — Empowering Sellers for the Future of AI-Powered Commerce. If you are in the area, come through.
- GFA TV Live Show + Empower the Seller Webinar, Wednesday June 17, 7:00–9:00 PM Bangkok time — Register here. We will get into the agentic commerce tools and strategies we have been building and testing under the Empower The Seller program. Action-packed, not theory.
This is a big theme right now. We are not just talking about AI in the abstract. We are building, testing, and figuring out how ecommerce sellers can actually prepare for this new wave of agentic commerce. Wednesday should show a lot of that in practice.
Then the week after, it is off to Hua Hin for a villa coworking session with other ecommerce sellers. One week traveling, one week back in the office, then back out. That rhythm is working. Squeezing the most out of home base time while leaning into the deals, relationships, and real-world conversations that move things forward.
Cross Border Summit 2026 is also building. The updated site is showing stronger testimonials, registrations are coming in, and the November 3–5 event in Chiang Mai is taking shape around the idea of real fellowship. Not just another conference, but a room full of experienced builders and operators getting together to actually share and grow.

Mike: It was a hyper trip. Meeting suppliers for Akitai, getting the team face-to-face with the supplier side, and moving new products further into the pipeline. That production alignment is what makes the brand work longer term.
