What Is Mike Michelini Up To Now: May 03 β May 09, 2026
We are sliding into early May here in Chiang Mai, and the city is hitting that perfect sweet spot: warm days, cooler nights, and the kind of energy that makes you want to build something new. The rainy season is still a few weeks away, so we are soaking up every clear morning and productive afternoon before the downpours return.
This week, the entire team is heads-down in the agentic web—the next evolution of the internet where autonomous agents handle discovery, conversation, transactions, and everything in between.
It feels like 1995 all over again, except this time, the browsers are optional. π»
The Team Pulse: Welcome to the Agentic Web
Let's check in with the crew as we build the infrastructure for the machine internet:
Janice Jung (Email, Ops & .agent Wrangler): "We are feet first into the agentic web. Hundreds of .agent domains have already sold on Headlessdomains.com, and we’re getting fantastic feedback and real momentum!"
Mike: "So exciting, janice.agent! We had a strong launch of the headlessdomains platform and the entire .agent namespace. I’ve been building out profiles like yours on directory.headlessprofile.com—this is a brand-new world of agent manifests and machine-readable web infrastructure." π€
Katrina McKay (Bar Essentials & Product Queen): "I’m pumped for the agentic commerce side. We’re building the product catalog feed right now so I can let my agents sling the metal pourers, cocktail kits, and everything else from katrina.agent."
Mike: "Yes—it’s a brave new world. Stripe dropped massive announcements last week on their agentic web strategy, and we are studying and implementing everything: agentic commerce product suites, machine-readable data, and their MPP (Machine Payment Protocol) standard. The vision is clear—people chat, agents pull JSON feeds, negotiate, and complete payments… all headless, no browser required." π
Katrina: "Exactly. Customers will talk to agents, agents talk to other agents, pull structured data, and close deals without anyone opening a tab."
Lisa Yuson (Global From Asia Ecosystem): "Still six months out from the Cross Border Summit, but we’ve locked in a bigger, upgraded venue right here in Chiang Mai! Hot speakers and trending topics are confirmed. We’re also upgrading the entire UI/UX so agents can discover the event, transact for tickets, and pull event data seamlessly." π
The Insight: It Is Still Day Zero
What a new world we’re stepping into. The rabbit hole on the agentic web is deep, and it’s still ridiculously early. I recently joined a developer group working on MPP, and there were only 39 people in it! That tells you everything.
We don’t know which protocols will win yet, but the best move is to learn fast and ship real implementations. That’s exactly what we are doing.

We’re not just watching the future—we’re building the on-ramps for it right now. The shift to "agentic everything" is happening faster than most people realize, and we are determined to be in the middle of it.
