Excited to Join China Magic 2026 as a Guest Mentor

It has been a long time since I have taken a proper business trip back to China, and I am excited to be returning.

I will be in China from October 17 to 26, 2026, with several business meetings and networking activities lined up. One part I especially want to highlight is that I will be joining China Magic 2026 as a guest mentor for one or two sessions while I am in Guangzhou.

Lyden Smithers, who hosts China Magic, is also one of the speakers joining us at Cross Border Summit 2026 in Chiang Mai, Thailand, from November 3 to 5. I like that this creates a natural bridge between the two communities: I can join Lyden in Guangzhou as a guest mentor, then welcome him to our CBS stage in Chiang Mai.

I am looking forward to meeting entrepreneurs who are coming to China to develop and source products. I want to hear what they are building, understand the challenges they are facing, and share some of the experience I have gained from working across China, ecommerce, sourcing, and cross-border business over the years.

What Is China Magic?

China Magic is a guided product-sourcing, manufacturing, mentoring, and mastermind experience built around the Canton Fair. The October 2026 program runs from October 23 to November 4 and offers five-day and twelve-day participation options.

The program brings ecommerce and product entrepreneurs together for Canton Fair visits, factory visits, supplier conversations, mentoring sessions, evening masterminds, and networking. The goal is not only to walk the trade-show floor. It is to help participants ask better questions, evaluate opportunities, build stronger supplier relationships, and learn alongside other operators who are actively developing and scaling products.

I will only be joining part of the program during my own China trip, but I am excited to contribute where I can. Some of the best business conversations happen when people bring a real product, a real supplier challenge, or a decision they are trying to make. Those are the conversations I am most looking forward to.
