Keep building. We have been doing at Shadstone since forever. We are making a team, making systems, making a platform – for us to build and create. Sure, many of our projects do not go as planned, but we keep moving forward.

Weekly launch calendar, and product launch workflow – really exciting to work with our great team on this standard process. Once running, believe will further reduce my personal stress.

GFA village dreamlining (after reading book “Network State”) – the end game of GFA community was always to make a “real life” community and ecosystem.

But we are pushing ahead and Monday is a normal work day – got plenty of calls and plans packed in to discuss. Such as Blimp Program expansion for cohort 2 with Aubrey, and pushing limits on various projects we have.

Lockdown again in Futian, Shenzhen (schools closed, daily mandatory tests) so it is pushing me even more to decide where to move for Fall (Thailand, Philippines, Japan, Cyprus, USA)

Investing more in Payroll / Finance / HR – painful parts for me, but we have built up an amazing team to do this and working to introducing a new process for payroll. Also the monthly reports have been getting so much better.

Thailand immigration prep, Handshake community drama, Lawsuits in Amazon, crypto bear market, just stay strong and realize this is when diamonds are created.

Last week was one of the more intense weeks we’ve had in a while. It was month end which is always crazy – huge payroll, also some shifting with client work, plus cross border payment mayhem.

Still hunting for the next move for the family. Very complex, multi input/out process but leaning now to Thailand for the fall semester for the kids. Miles bday picnic

Typing up on my “lap” (no desk / table here), and somewhat taking some time off – but more it is looking at new apartments and schools to relocate our family to Huizhou (maybe)

High rewards are not for the 95% of the day to day “Easy things”, but that 5% where there are really hard decisions to be made.

Pushing limits beyond what may have thought possible. But do feel we are “processing it” as a team and growing into it.

Its a holiday but we cannot leave Shenzhen. Why? Our children’s school monitors and if we leave then there is a special process. I’m becoming an introvert / shut in these days anyway working online non-stop.

To be honest, I may have a burnout (temple time) – or I may transition into some kind of new person. Hoping for the second, but this week will be that week to define it.

Just re-watched “Ready Player One” Movie for inspiration, and compared from the first time I watched it, we seem to be heading more in the direction of that movie
