This is the third week of this trip – and has been a defining trip making quality relationships and strengthening of existing ones.
In a quick 1 day Hong Kong stop over – spent time with Chris visiting his place and seeing his chameleon! Fed some crickets then off to the old Hong Kong prison which is now a mix of coffee shops and a museum.
Talking business with a few other friends and then of course preparing for the fifth “The Asia Roadshow”
Loved the venue, down in Quarry Bay on Hong Kong Island, nice vibes and networking. A small but high impact group attended and it was definitely more financial and software industry people attending.
The friends who came explained this is just because most ecommerce people would be in the Shenzhen, China side or in Southeast Asia. I do have to agree on that – cost of living in Hong Kong is high and there is not much ecommerce reason to be there.
